Miriam Arnold Edmonston Foundation, INC.

Welcome to the Miriam Arnold Edmonston Foundation Web-Site! We are a private charitable foundation whose goals are to fund scholarships for high school seniors of accredited schools in Mexico, Missouri and to make distributions of Foundation assets exclusively for charitable, literary, educational and scientific purposes for the residents of Mexico, Missouri.

All individuals and organizations seeking funds from our Foundation should look over the following general guide lines:

1. Our Board meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday in the months of April, July, October and December of each year. In order to have your grant request on our agenda for any given quarterly meeting, please have your application to us by either March 1st, June 1st, September 1st or December 1st.

2. Grant applications should be sent to Mr. Bradford A. Brett at 100 North Jefferson Street, Mexico, Missouri 65265 or you can send an e-mail to loiskeith@brettanderdel.com.

3. The maximum amount of money the Board can give to any one organization in any one year is $30,000.00 unless this figure is waived by a vote of the Board of Directors.

4. Your grant requests should state as follows:

• The name, address and phone number of your organization.
• The purposes of your organization.
• Whether or not your organization has been granted 501©)(3) status pursuant to the Internal Revenue Code.
• The purpose/purposes for which you and/or your organization will be using our funds (if your request is approved by our Board). We are particularly concerned that any funds donated to you by our Board should be used exclusively for the citizens/residents of Mexico, Missouri.
• All requests for academic scholarships need to be submitted through the counselor's office at the Mexico High School or Missouri Military Academy or such other accredited school as may be applicable.
• Please be sure to sign and date all grant requests.
• Please feel free to add any additional comments which you think would be helpful in assisting the Board to make a decision regarding your grant request.
